About Primary Care Today
Primary
Care Today has been recognised as one of the leading publications for
healthcare professionals in the UK. The publication is distributed free, on a
monthly basis, to NHS Alliance members and to a wide range of targeted
decision-makers and influential personnel in every primary care organisation
through the continuously revised database. It is mailed electronically, by
name, to every PCO Chairperson, Chief
Executive and Vice-Chairperson; to SHA representatives, Primary Care Trust
Executive Committee Chairs, GP and Nurse representatives and all other
executive Committee members; as well as to every PCO lead for Clinical
Governance, Commissioning, Communications, Community Issues, Education,
Finance, Healthcare Strategy, ICT, Mental Health, PCIP/GMS, Prescribing,
Pharmacy and Optometry, Primary Care Development and Secondary Care; plus other
advisers and procurement specialists within collaborative procurement hubs
(CPHs).
In
addition to the monthly electronic version, the magazine is printed four times
a year to also coincide with the two leading healthcare exhibitions: Primary
Care and NHS Alliance.
Sticking to the popular format of news, views, comments and features written by leading healthcare professionals, including comment from Dr Michael Dixon OBE, Primary Care Today is dedicated to providing primary care and healthcare professionals with an informed and instantly accessible perspective on the issues that affect service delivery and development.
